EDGE for Tomorrow is excited to announce our participation in the Do More 24 Delaware 2021 fundraising campaign; a statewide campaign running from 6 p.m. on March 4th to 6 p.m. on March 5th. We need your help to make the most of those 24 hours. Our goal is $25,000 and with your help, we can get there! In October 2020 EDGE opened a Remote Access Learning Hub at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant when schools went virtual as a result of COVID-19.
We are supporting up to 20 students with tools to access school Monday thru Friday; providing a safe space, technical support and encouragement during the on-line school day, two nutritional meals and a snack, recreational activities, and emotional support through activities such as yoga, team building, and arts programming. A three hour after-care program offers music, art, creative writing, yoga, storytelling, and STEM as we seek to build self-esteem, confidence, resilience, and coping mechanisms that are so necessary in addressing the effects of childhood trauma and stress.
Your gift during our campaign can help us win additional funding from the campaign prize pool based on how much we raise in donations! The more we raise in total donations the more EDGE will receive from the pool. Every person that donates $50 or more to any nonprofit on #DoMore24DE will receive a ticket to a virtual concert with Jimmie Allen, Milton, DE native and contemporary country singer. So it’s important that you donate directly on our campaign page to boost our fundraising capacity!
Make a donation and help us continue to support at-risk children in the communities of Edgemoor, Bellevue and Bellefonte. Take time to share our posts and add your comments or write posts of your own by joining our ambassador team and helping us all do more together. Thank you for your support!
